#9. Nigeria Airways Flight 2120

July 11, 1991 was on a Thursday and there was yet another airplane crash. The Nigeria Airways Flight 2120 was a chartered passenger flight from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to Sokoto, Nigeria that ended up crashing shortly after takeoff killing all 247 passengers and 14 crew members on board.

Flight 2120 was the deadliest accident involving a DC-8 and still remains the deadliest aviation disaster involving a Canadian airline and the second-worst accident in Saudi Arabia.
