Costa Rica located in Central America, just between Mexico and South America is known for its bio diverse nature, volcanoes and beautiful beaches which make it a top tourist destination for nature lovers. Despite it being a very small country it is said to hold approximately 4 % of the total species in the world most of which can only be found in this part of the planet.
The country boasts having two coastlines (the Atlantic and The Pacific), mangrove forests, tropical rain forests, and volcanoes some of which are active. It’s the natural habitat to over 800 bird species. It also has 26 national parks but the most famous ones are Manuel Antonio National Park and the Rincon de la Vieja National Park.
